The story
A stranger at the margins.
You play as Sev, a maintenance worker in an outpost called Tanpura, one of five regions in The Resonance, anchored in Carnatic and Hindustani music. Sev's companion Spark, Shruti, has been gone for two years. The community has settled around the absence.
On the first day, a stranger appears at the margins of the outpost. Over five days of real time, you decide how Sev meets them, and what that meeting becomes.
Margins is the first short story in The Resonance. It is a complete piece on its own. More entries in the series are planned.

- Do I need an Apple Watch?
- No. The watch experience is the most intentional, but the same story plays on iPhone and Android phones.
- How long is it?
- Roughly 5–10 minutes of reading per day, across five days. After your first playthrough, you can enable "Shorten Waits" to explore other paths and endings; a full replay with that on takes about 30–60 minutes.
- Does my progress sync between devices?
- On Apple devices, yes: iCloud syncs progress between iPhone and iPad, and your Apple Watch stays paired with your iPhone over the local link. On Android, your story stays on the device you're playing on.
- Is it replayable?
- Yes. Different alignments lead to different closing passages, and there are four distinct endings to find.
- How much does it cost?
